Bournemouth Air Festival: day one in pictures
It started hopefully -although the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight were unable to display at the launch because of low cloud - with some Black Cat action.
But the low cloud didn't get any higher. First the Red Arrows cancelled, then the Hawk T2, and then everything except the Black Cats. And then they cancelled too. Here's our round-up of the day in pictures.
