Miss Demeanour pilot Jonathon Whaley has written the foreword for the book.
He said: “Bournemouth’s show only began in 2008 and it was a brave step to put on a four-day show.
“I can’t help feel that those who took that decision should be looking back with great satisfaction.
“For us display pilots, the site doesn’t get much better.
“The airfield is close, so even if the weather is not particularly brilliant, we can often still make it to the display – and we’ve had most of the extremes of weather in Bournemouth in the last five years.”
