Hospital chief pays tribute to radiologist Dr Terry Creasy

A HOSPITAL chief has paid tribute to Bournemouth Hospital radiologist Dr Terry Creasy who died tragically on September 24.

Married father-of-four Dr Creasy, 55, lived in the Canford Cliffs area of Poole with his wife and children. His funeral service was held on Thursday, October 4 at St Peter’s Church, Parkstone.

Dr Creasy’s family are hoping to set up a bursary in his memory to assist with funding a student at Christ’s College, Cambridge, who would otherwise be unable to read medicine.

In a statement, Tony Spotswood, chief executive of the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Terry was held in great affection by both his colleagues and patients at the hospital and universally respected for his clinical work.

“He will be greatly missed by his colleagues, patients and his family; our thoughts are with them.”
