Poole crash teenager is still in hospital

A teenager critically injured in a crash more than a week ago is now in a serious but stable condition.

Bournemouth and Poole College student Jade Hutchings, 18, was one of four in a Volkswagen Polo that smashed into a six-foot high wall in Salisbury Street, Cranborne.

She was taken to Southampton Hospital’s specialist neurological unit where she was put into a medical coma.

Jade, who lives in Poole, had just begun the second year of a travel and tourism course. She also works part-time at Tesco, Fleetsbridge.
