THE boss of a Poole company has described her excitement at working on the video for Joss Stone’s latest single.

Georgina Hurcombe’s firm worked on the visual effects for ‘The High Road’, the first song to be released from her sixth soul album.

The video is set in moonlit forest, with Joss riding on the back of an elephant through the trees and playing chess with Death.

Georgina, 28, who grew up in Dubai but now lives in Bournemouth town centre, said: “It was an amazing experience and very exciting.

“We got the video sent to us from LA and it was shot in the day, but her management wanted it to look like it was night-time.

“It was a very tight turnaround and we managed to get finish it in nine days – we were working really long hours.

“I absolutely love Joss Stone, she’s one of the great soul singers of our generation so it was a huge honour.”

Georgina’s company Lovelove Films is based at the Enterprise Pavilion in Poole, on the campus of the Arts University College at Bournemouth.

She graduated from Bournemouth University in 2006 with a degree in Television Production.

Her staff include graduates from the two universities and Georgina said: “There is such great talent coming out of both institutions.”

The High Road is taken from Joss Stone’s sixth studio album The Soul Sessions Volume 2.
