4:43pm Wednesday 19th September 2012 in News
TWO men stole a large amount of money from a customer at Natwest Bank in Poole.
The victim, a 37-year-old Poole man, was making cash deposits at the counter when he was barged aside and the money was stolen. He chased the culprits but was assaulted – he sustained a broken finger and bruising.
The robbers fled the scene in a black Lexus parked nearby, later found abandoned.
The incident, happened between 2pm and 2.45pm on Tuesday 28 August 2012, but police have only just released details.
Detective Constable Sara Butler, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: “Following extensive police enquiries, I am now in a position to release CCTV images of two men who I would like to speak with.
“One of these men is black and was smartly dressed, wearing a light-coloured cardigan and a striped tie. The other man is white and was wearing a blue T-shirt, jeans, trainers and a dark blue hooded top.
“I am appealing for anyone who recognises either of these two men to contact police as soon as possible.
“Anyone with any information about this robbery should also call Dorset Police at the earliest opportunity.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 28:292. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.

Where in Poole. The High Street?
I hope this poor victim was not resting his money on the counter while he was waiting to be served.
