New bus routes start today

Some of More and Wilts and Dorset ’s bus routes and timetables change from today in the Poole, Bournemouth, Wimborne, Broadstone , Ashley Heath , Corfe Mullen , Merley and Ferndown areas.

The most significant changes are for route 3 between Wimborne and Poole where after complaints from residents a faster route has been reinstated to run every 30 minutes between Wimborne, Corfe Mullen, Broadstone Way and Poole.

However commercial manager Nikki Honer says that as Julian’s Bridge closes for repairs a temporary timetable will be in place.

No attention given to the appalling No 37 service. It's been unreliable for years. W&D, The worst bus company in the world!

Little has been done about complaints, requests and pleas regarding axing of all but one bus on the Branksome Wd Rd/Glenferness Ave. section by Council or the major bus companies. We used to have about half dozen routes but now left with nothing but a very poor, extremely limited service 36! Yellows or Reds W&D don't care about people, neither does the Council. This is a very central town area! Yet, so many buses clogging the routes to Southbourne, castlepoint etc. Residents here are living only half a life and denied any decent transport links. Almost 600 strong petition to totally ignored by all authorites.

It's all "More" now in the Bournemouth conurbation. I dread to think how much that major rebranding has cost them!
