SHEAN Molloy’s wife Helen works at the Forum Jewellers, owned by her parents.
Shean was at work at Village Veg next door when a customer came into the shop and said “there’s been an armed raid”.
“The jewellers’ staff were all traumatised afterwards and what has happened has started to hit home,” he said.
“They were all shocked.
“Helen has worked there for more than 10 years and it’s never happened before.
The staff went to the nearby Blackwater Stream Wetherspoon pub to recover.
Shean added: “She said it just felt like 10 seconds and I said ‘are you all right?’ as she was shaking.
“My wife said they had balaclavas on “I said ‘did you see a face’ and she said she didn’t.
“It could’ve been a lot worse.”
