Man falls from third-floor hotel window

A MAN was treated for a sprained ankle after falling from the third floor window of a Bournemouth hotel in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The incident occurred around 5.50am at the Queen’s Hotel in Meyrick Road.

Fire crews from Springbourne and Westbourne and the technical rescue team from Poole were called to the scene as well as the aerial platform from Westbourne.

Firefighters used the aerial platform ladder and another ladder to rescue the 22-year-old man from the roof of the reception area.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene.
