THE breast prosthesis room and quiet room at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital have received a makeover thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Tulip Appeal.

Sue Bungey, secretary to the appeal’s trustees, said: “For a small group of ladies this has been a huge achievement and I would like to thank everyone locally who has given money to this very worthwhile cause.

“We are looking for new committee members and, if anyone is interested in getting involved, we would be delighted to hear from them.”

Anyone wishing to support the Tulip Appeal should send donations to 14 Maundeville Crescent, Christchurch, BH23 2EW.
