Search for people after landslide in West Dorset

AT LEAST one person is believed to be trapped after a major landslide in West Dorset.

Emergency services are currently searching through rubble following the fall near Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, Burton Bradstock.

There were dozens of people on the beach at the time of the landslide and it is believed someone was trapped underneath. At least one other was injured.

Coastguard teams, the rescue helicopter, a lifeboat crew, paramedics, police, firefighters and specialist search teams are at the scene.

Crews are there to search for those who may be trapped and to keep the public away from the area surrounding the landslide.

As seen on national tv, a body has now been found in the rubble of the landslide.

I think most people hearing about this/reading about the incident will take time to think of the family affected and of the poor person (believed to be a young lady) who died. Such sad news, RIP

I am sure that the family are being helped as appropriate. I was worried when I first heard about this as my grand-daughters might have been on that beach.
I hope that the editorial staff deal with the trashy spam above.
