Rate the conduct of Christchurch and East Dorset councillors

CHRISTCHURCH and East Dorset councils are appealing for “independent” people to give their views on councillors’ conduct.

The appointed volunteers will help to maintain standards of conduct by councillors as well as town and parish councillors.

Their views will be taken on allegations concerning breaches of the Code of Conduct. They may also be consulted on other ‘standards of conduct’ matters and invited to meetings of the councils’ Ethical Governance Committee.

Travel and subsistence costs will be paid.
