AN ELDERLY woman has died following a collision with a lorry at lunchtime yesterday.
The 77-year-old from the Winton area of Bournemouth suffered fatal head and leg injuries in the accident involving a Scania lorry at Wimborne Road shortly after 12.30pm yesterday.
Police closed the road from HSBC bank and Winton Police station to Withermoor Road.
She lost her batle for life at Poole Hospital this morning.
The coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held.
