Bournemouth Race for Life 10k event cancelled (From Bournemouth Echo)

• "We have been training for the 10k for weeks. People have sponsored us to do the 10k, not the 5k and I shall sure as hell do not think I will be letting myself, the people supporting me or Cancer Research down. The winds have died down and I walked the route yesterday in the howling winds. Yes I got sand in my shoes, but who cares, this is for a bigger cause! If people want to walk/jog/run the 10k regardless then just let them!"
