PUPILS at Muscliff primary now have access to more technology thanks to the fundraising efforts of parents and the community.
The school’s Christmas fayre raised more than £5,000, some of which has been used to buy 15 new laptops and a trolley for use across the age groups. The cash was raised by the Muscliff Parents Association and the school was also selected as Sainsbury’s local cause.
“We are so pleased to be able to make such a significant contribution to the school and pupils” said association chair Caroline Gogan.
“The children love the opportunity to use the IT equipment. We are very thankful to Sainsbury’s. It’s the donations and generosity from local business and families which make it possible for us to give the school this equipment.”
