THE £5million luxury Sunseeker yacht that was damaged by fallen scaffolding will be delivered to its new owner just two weeks late.
Sunseeker confirmed the vessel sustained only cosmetic damage in the incident, which saw a temporary cleaning shed collapse on top of the boat during gale force winds last Thursday night.
As a result, only minor works were needed to put the damage right.
Repairs began in earnest yesterday and the 28-metre boat will be delivered to its new owners just a fortnight late.
