DORSET’S oldest animal welfare charity is celebrating an advert with a difference after it featured on the back of a bus.
Advertising space was donated to Margaret Green Animal Rescue by Wilts & Dorset buses, which provide routes across Bournemouth, Poole, Purbeck and the New Forest.
Louise Keeling, Marketing Manager at Margaret Green, said: “All we needed to do was provide the artwork for the bus.
“We are very grateful to Wilts & Dorset for giving us this opportunity and are delighted with the result.
“We hope that many people think about adopting a rescue animal from us after seeing the bus.”
The bus route will cover many miles and will be seen throughout Dorset for the next 12 months.
Nikki Honer, Commercial Manager at Wilts & Dorset, said: “We are a local company with a local feel and work with many charities in the area.
“This particular request captured our hearts and we hope those of our customers too, as adopting a rescue animal can be very rewarding.”
Although based in Church Knowle, near Corfe Castle, Margaret Green Animal rescue re-home hundreds of animals every year throughout the whole county.
