I KNEW it, there are still gentlemen in this area. (Re: ‘This random act of kindness so lovely’, Letters May 10).
Ms Ferns was fortunate to meet such a kindly man on her quest for a book. I agree parts of the human race can be good, kind. I would also like to thank this person for helping her.
The reason I write, because earlier this year I had a similar encounter which completely changed my outlook on life. What a lovely letter from Sandra Ferns. I hope the gentleman concerned reads your newspaper.
