POLICE said their Boscombe drugs crackdown has proved “very successful.”

They used plain clothes patrols and drugs raids and referred addicts for help.

A spokesman said 13 men and women were arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis, possession of heroin, and money laundering.

Around £1,500 in cash, and £5,000 worth of drugs were seized.

Bournemouth East Police Neighbourhood Inspector Chris Weeks, said: “We are delighted with this latest success as part of Operation Dismantle.

“This focus has shown that positive action will be taken by Dorset Police against those individuals believed to be dealing drugs, and help and support offered to those who use them.

Police said anyone with information can call them in confidence on 101, or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
