Ferndown Town Council has announced the community groups sharing more than £15,000 of grant funding.
Councillors have voted to award Ferndown Community Association, which runs the Barrington Centre, £6,000 over the next three years.
East Dorset Citizens Advice Bureau will receive £7,500 this year.
Sums of £1,000 have been set aside for Woofability and £750 for the Royal British Legion Club, with the annual Ferndown Carnival and Ferndown Phoenix Musical Society each receiving £500.
Charity Vitalise, which runs holiday breaks for disabled people and carers, was also allocated £500.
Sums of £400 have been pledged to The Caterpillar Club and Ferndown 2358 Squadron ATC, with another £350 going to Ferndown Twinning Asso-ciation.
Ferndown in Bloom and Ferndown Village Hall will get grants of £300 each.
A gardening club at Ferndown Upper School, the Dorset Blind Association and Ferndown Jitsu Club secured £250 each Brendoncare’s ‘Penny’s Friendship Club’ was granted £100.
A £150 grant was awarded to the Dorset branch of the Victim Support organisation.
