ARTS groups in Dorset will continue to receive significant Arts Council funding, it has been announced.
The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Poole’s Lighthouse both saw their settlements unaffected, despite a cut in the council’s national budget.
Bournemouth Pavilion-based Dance South West was one of the big winners, receiving a doubling of its allocation.
However, smaller groups, such as New Forest venue ArtSway, missed out on funding altogether.
