SINGING legend Paul Simon will be bringing a summer of love to Bournemouth when he appears at the BIC Windsor Hall on June 27.

The singer is half of the legendary sixties duo Simon and Garfunkel, who went on to a major solo career and became one of the world’s biggest selling artists of all time.

Tickets for his Bournemouth show will go on sale this Friday and will be priced between £50 and £60.

The tour will celebrate the release of So Beautiful Or So What, his first new record in five years that is due out next month.

The set list is likely to draw from his iconic career, including Mrs Robinson, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Graceland, Mother And Child Reunion and several songs that haven’t been performed live in many years.

Also included will be songs from his brand new album that has been produced by Phil Ramone and Paul Simon, with liner notes written by Elvis Costello.

So Beautiful Or So What is reputedly one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year.

Joining Paul for this tour is a stellar band of musicians including Cameroonian guitarist Vincent Nguini, drummer Jim Oblon and pianist Mick Rossi, There is also saxophonist/keyboardist Andrew Snitzer, bassist Bakithi Kumalo, guitarist Mark Stewart, master percussionist Jamey Haddad and multi-instrumentalist Tony Cedras.
