A money lending agent, who was making door to door collections in South Norwood, was robbed by a masked man with a seven inch kitchen knife on Monday.

The 38-year-old woman came face to face with her assailant on the stairwell of the first floor in a block of flats at Warminster Square just after 7.30pm .

The suspect, a 22-year-old, 5ft 8ins, black man used the knife to cut the bag strap from her shoulder.
