Revellers gather at Lulworth Castle for Camp Bestival

10:40am Saturday 31st July 2010

BUMPER crowds have flocked to historic Lulworth Castle for this year’s Camp Bestival.

Music fans were treated to headliners George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic on Friday night.

Madness are topping the bill on Saturday, with Friendly Fires among the highlights on Sunday.

Traffic reportedly slowed to a crawl approaching the site on Friday, with more revellers heading into Purbeck today.

Around 30,000 people are expected over the weekend.

Other top name performers include The Human League, Billy Bragg, Calvin Harris, Tinie Tempah and Ellie Goulding.

The English National Ballet and children’s favourite Mr Tumble are also set to perform at the fairytale-themed family festival.

A full round-up of pictures will be available in Monday’s Daily Echo.
