AN opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Daily Echo is among the prizes up for grabs in a radio station’s charity auction.
Wave 105 will hold an on-air auction today to raise funds for children’s hospice Naomi House through their Cash for Kids appeal. There will also be an online auction.
The range of exclusive auction items include a signed acoustic Tanglewood guitar, a week’s holiday at a Hoburne holiday park and hospitality for two at the England v Pakistan game in Southampton.
Daily Echo editor-in-chief Neal Butterworth said: “We can guarantee a fascinating look behind the scenes of a busy daily newspaper, and the winner will be part of the decision-making process within our news team.
