TWO Bournemouth solicitors are swapping suits for running shorts to take part in the Paris marathon.

James Kidner and David Audis, who work together at Laceys Solicitors, are hoping to raise £1,000 towards a new minibus for Langside School in Poole, a specialist school for children with profound learning and physical difficulties.

The pair are training hard for the 26.2 miles through the French capital on April 11.

James said: “Training has been tough, we have done a few half marathons which were pretty painful and have made us realise that the full marathon is by no means leisurely stroll down the Champs Elysees.

“We are just hoping that a bit of wishful thinking will get us over the line.

“In any case, we set out to go to Paris, take in the sites and complete a marathon, if we can raise some money for this great cause in the process then all the better.”
