HERE’S a sure sign that spring has dawned, bringing an end to the coldest winter for three decades.
Farmer Palmer’s has just welcomed 24 new lambs.
The cute new arrivals were born on a farm in Tarrant Gunville, just north of Blandford.
They will spend the next few weeks learning to bottle feed in time for Easter.

Their arrival is just another sign that spring is upon us – with the sun shining and daffodils coming into flower.
“It is lovely to see the baby lambs grow strong and learn how to run down to meet and greet the children in return for a bottle of special milk,” said Sandra Palmer-Snellin.
Elsewhere, the first Dartford warblers have been spotted on Dorset’s heathland, and crocus flowers are starting to bloom.
Farmer Palmer’s also welcomed their latest piglets a few weeks ago.
The animals are available to meet at the Farm Park in Organford from 10am every day.
