Step out for Poole's Starlight Stroll

THE popular Starlight Stroll in aid of Lewis-Manning Hospice happens once again on Saturday March 20.
The Daily Echo backed 5km event, open to the whole family, begins and ends at the Sandbanks Beach Café with a short pit stop at Lewis-Manning Hospice where walkers will be offered refreshments and a tour.
The walk kicks off at midnight and people are encouraged to don fancy dress.
Mary Tidy, fundraising manager at the hospice, said: “Last year more than 200 ladies took part in the event raising more than £20,000 for the care and comfort of our patients.
“This year we are aiming to register 500 participants and we are hoping to raise £50,000.
“This would cover a whole month’s running costs of the hospice.”
The registration fee to take part is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.
