Dozens of firefighters tackled a blaze at a Poole double glazing warehouse late on Tuesday night.
The fire is believed to have started at Sun Trade Windows, Doors and Conservatories, on Broom Road Business Park.
Deputy Chief Fire Office, Nigel Williams, said crew battled severe heat and smoke from the burning plastics inside the building.
The nearby area was badly affected by smoke which had an “unpleasant” smell according to residents.
The neighbouring business, Matt Black Systems and James Wilson, were also damaged.
At one point, 65 firefighters were on the scene.

Have some of the Echo reporters been held up by traffic delays again on Richmond Hill or got stuck in a lift perhaps?
Security word 'food-trip' may give a taste of the reason!!
