Pedal cyclist dies after Bournemouth collision

A PEDAL cyclist died after a collision with a red Renault Megane on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Talbot Avenue and East Avenue at 9.20am but the 40-year-old woman from Bournemouth had died.
The road was closed until early afternoon for collision investigators and crime scene investigators to examine the road.
• A 31-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested. Witnesses are asked to contact PC Dave Innell from Ferndown traffic department on 01202 222222.
