BUCCANEERS assistant boss Neil Vatcher believes the dynamics of the National League title decider have dramatically changed now Plymouth stage the second leg of the final.

But Vatcher insists Bournemouth Castle Cover can still finish the job in style and illustrate why they finished well clear of Devils at the top of the table at the same time.

After Friday’s rain-off at Plymouth turned tomorrow’s clash at Poole into the first leg, Devils chairman Mike Bowden said: “It’ll give us a slight advantage because we’ll know exactly what we have to do when the second leg is at home next Friday.”

Vatcher said: “We just have to do our very best tomorrow at home and build up as big a lead as we possibly can, and see what happens.

“The boys have done brilliantly all year and they are going to give us two more brilliant performances.

“We just have to win Wednesday and finish the job on Friday. We’re still confident we can win overall despite the switch.”

Vatcher, whose side have already won the cup and are looking to complete a double, added: “We finished top of the league by 17 points over Weymouth and 19 over Plymouth, who were third.

“We did that because we’re the best team.

“We need as much support at Poole tomorrow as possible – probably more than before the Plymouth rain-off because the pressure is on now.

“We want people to come out and support the team to help us get as many points on the board so we can defend it on Friday.”
