I won't quit says Bournemouth council chief in laptop porn row

THE leader of Bournemouth council does not intend to quit his post despite “top shelf” adult material being found on a council laptop he used.
Opposition leaders yesterday united to call for Conservative Cllr Stephen MacLoughlin to go in the light of the revelation.
But the Daily Echo can reveal that although the option of him resigning was discussed yesterday, his cabinet colleagues gave him their unanimous support to stay as chairman of the cabinet and leader of the council.
