YOUNGSTERS at a Dorset school have been getting active this week as part of a national drive.
Pupils at Ferndown First School are taking part in a host of different sports to mark Lloyds TSB National School Sport week.
Each day they are trying out new activities, including sailing, athletics, tennis, rounders, football, trampolining, basketball and swimming.
More than 10,000 schools and three million young people across Britain are taking part this year.
Head of PE Gary Smith said it was all about using the 2012 Olympics as inspiration and getting children fit and healthy.
