A FRENCH storybook is being remade by school children in East Dorset.

The home grown version of the popular teaching aid “Qui conduit” or “Who’s driving?” is the result of hard work between year eight pupils at Cranborne Middle School and children at Wimborne St Giles First School.

The Cranborne students visited their young counterparts before Easter, laying on an afternoon of French words, games and songs on the theme of transport.

The budding language students in St Giles demonstrated their understanding by making models from cardboard boxes of the modes of transport they had learned about.

Photographs of the models will serve as pictures in the storybook.
