Lucy Macgregor sails in to inspire children

OLYMPIC sailing hopeful Lucy Macgregor visited Hamworthy to inspire the next generation of potential champions.
Students from Haymoor Middle School in Poole were trying their hand at watersports at Hamworthy’s outdoor education centre.
Lucy passed on her sailing experience and tips to the enthusiastic pupils.
More than 100 pupils will take courses in kayaking or sailing and the school has received a £6,000 National Lottery grant for the scheme.

Teacher Nigel Roberts said he wanted the children to make the most of living so close to the sea.
MP Annette Brooke and mayor of Poole Cllr Joyce Lavender also attended the launch.
