Volunteers filled 10 bags of rubbish when they took part in a litter pick on the Rodwell Trail in Weymouth.
More than a dozen people answered an appeal for help and covered an area from the former Sandsfoot Halt station to Newstead Road.
It is one of two litter picks a year organised by the Friends of the Rodwell Trail.
Parks development officer for Weymouth and Portland Borough Council Tara Gooding said: “Our youngest volunteer was just 22 months and he did very well.
“The trail wasn’t that bad actually so we managed to cover quite a large area.
“A good job was done by all.”
