Two gangs of Oriental men, some armed with sticks and knives, were involved in a brawl outside a Chinese restaurant in Bournemouth last night.
The fight happened at around 7pm on the forecourt of Ocean City in Christchurch Road.
Two men were arrested.
A 34-year-old man was taken to hospital with head and facial injuries and cuts to his hands. A second man, aged 40, made his own way to hospital with a serious cut to the arm.
Police officers believe the fight was between two groups of mainly Orientals – about 15 in all.
After the fracas, some ran off and others left in cars.
Police are appealing for witnesses and said investigations are on-going on Christchurch Road and on nearby Annerley Road.
