Bournemouth life coach helping Jade Goody fight cancer

A HAPPINESS and confidence coach from West Parley has been offering words of support to reality television star Jade Goody, who is battling cancer.

Sue Stone met Jade, who sprang to public fame in 2002 during Big Brother 3, when she fell from public grace during Celebrity Big Brother in 2007.

Sue and Jade became friends while she taught Jade the power of positive thinking.

Sue said she and Jade have been in touch by text message since the star was diagnosed with cervical cancer, which despite radiotherapy and chemotherapy has spread to her liver, bowel and groin.

Jade had surgery on Friday to remove a large tumour blocking her bowel and medics have offered her a new “miracle drug”.

Sue said Jade knows she will give support in person if she is asked.

“We have been texting. She is just reeling from the shock of being told her cancer has spread. She is terrified. Her main concern is her two boys,” she said. “Her prognosis is not good. You have to take each day as it comes.”

She added: “What she will do now is enjoy every day that life gives her and we all should be doing that.

“When you think about it, this moment is the only moment you have got. Let’s live it and enjoy it.”

Sue said her research into the power of positive thinking started 10 years ago when her life hit rock bottom.

Her marriage broke up, she was facing a quarter-of-a-million pounds of debt, the bank was about to repossess her home and she had three young children to support and no income.

She set about finding ways to improve her life, eventually passing that knowledge on to others through one-to-one sessions, corporate clients and the book Love Life, Live Life.
