I am very disheartened indeed to see that once again Christmas celebrations have bypassed Ashley Road, Upper Parkstone.
Not one Christmas light along the whole high street – how utterly miserable.
What a massive failure on the part of our local council, councillors, and local businesses.
Is it beyond everyone’s wits to put up a few Christmas lights, get a Christmas tree in the high street, and cheer the place up for Christmas?
As it is in the evenings we have a dark, desolate high street with the life and vitality of little more than an abandoned ghost town.
Perhaps someone in Poole council or the major stores would like to speak up – why no Christmas lights, for families and children, in Poole’s second largest shopping area ?
