Comedian Dom Joly, famous for his Trigger Happy TV sketch of a man with a very large mobile phone, is asking people to hand in their old, broken and unwanted mobile phones to raise cash for The Children's Society.
He said: "I urge people to recycle their old phones. In this way we can work towards producing even bigger ones so that no one will ever have to suffer ownership of a phone less than 3ft long again."
While Dom Joly jokes, recycling your old phone can help the charity to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable kids. For every mobile phone with its charger, a donation of £5 will be made without a charger a donation of £3 will be made.
