There are fewer loos in Lewisham, certainly in Catford. In spite of promises, the public toilets on the island between Bromley and Catford roads by the town hall were demolished. There is now only a pay toilet in Catford Broadway and St Laurence House may be used on request. The restoration of public toilets in Catford might stop beggars urinating into fire exits or in the middle of the road between the two town halls. Further, with the re-introduction of tuberculosis into Britain, we should have notices forbidding spitting in public places. Its a disgusting habit!.
