A WOMAN who has worked for more than 40 years helping disabled people was one of the guests at a reception at the House of Lords.
Moyra Carey, of Edison Road, Welling, began working with the Royal Association for disability and Rehabilitation when she was just 14 and retired from her work last month.
She was invited to the House of Lords to attend a reception for Dr Marion Fang who has led efforts to help disabled children in orphanages across China.
