BOURNEMOUTH Dolphins' Jasmine McCormack made two semi-finals as she recorded personal best times in all three of her events at the ASA National Youth Championships.
But she had to work overtime in Sheffied to progress from the heats of the 16-17yrs 100m freestyle after dead-heating with Solihull's Charlotte Graham for the last qualifying spot.
Both girls recorded 59.99sec but McCormack emerged victorious from the swim-off with 59.65.
The 16-year-old then clocked her third sub 60-second swim to come 16th in the semi-finals before going on to finish 14th in the 200m freestyle semi-finals.
She was also 29th in the 16-17yrs 50m freestyle.
Dolphins' Martin Littlefair, 15, continued his progress with personal best times from four of his five events.
Like Freeman, he was in the younger half of a two-year age group as he placed 21st in the 15-16yrs 800m freestyle, 24th in the 200m free, 32nd in the 100m free, 40th in the 200m medley and 37th in the 400m freestyle.
Bournemouth coach Graham Bassi said: "Our two youth swimmers recorded seven PBs between them and both moved up the rankings.
"I'm really pleased with them."
