A CAR was completely destroyed despite the efforts of fire crews at a popular beauty spot in the middle of the night.
One crew from Christchurch attended the blaze after recieving two calls from the public that a vehicle was on fire at 12.56am at Hengistbury Head on Saturday, November 20.
Fire fighters used one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
The car was completely destroyed.
The issue has now been handed over to the police.
