A PERSON who suffered a medical episode at Durdle Door was stretchered to safety by paramedics and coastguard teams.
Coastguards from Kimmeridge and Lulworth were called to the beauty spot on Saturday at around 7.30pm to provide assistance to the ambulance service, after a female was taken ill.
A spokesman for Kimmeridge Coastguard Rescue Team said: "Team paged at 7.30pm to assist Lulworth Coastguard Team and Southwestern Ambulance with a stretcher carry along the footpath at Durdle Door to a person with a medical episode.
"Once the person was safely back at the ambulance and off to hospital both teams stood down and returned to station."
