Dunstable Town 3

Brook House 1 (March 23)

THIS was a classic case of throwing away three points as Brook House were a goal up with 10 minutes of the game remaining.

After a goalless first half in which both sides had struggled to come to terms with an extremely bumpy playing surface, Brook gained the upper hand after 53 minutes when midfielder Tommy Willimas hooked home from 10 yards following fine build up play involving Jordan Sibthorpe and Steve Dell.

Brook were now looking like the stronger team and should have added to their lead when after 75 minutes Daniel Murphy squandered a chance with the goal at his mercy.

The home side then drew level through a penalty after a Dunstable striker was upended by Brook keeper Julian Taylor.

Brook's afternoon deteriorated further when Dion Osbourne found himself red-carded after retaliating to a challenge from a Town defender.

The incident turned the course of the game and the home side caught Brook napping twice more to steal the points.

Brook House: Taylor, Dell, Yeboah, Cahill, Bird, Williams, Sibthorpe, J Murphy, D Murphy, Flaherty (Culham), Osbourne
