A MAN was found dead in the woods at Upton Country Park over the bank holiday weekend, an inquest heard.
Volunteers at the park came across David Hodson’s body on Monday, August 27, coroner Brendan Allen heard at the inquest at Bournemouth Coroners' Court on Thursday.
An ambulance was called for the 34-year-old retail worker and paramedics confirmed he had died.
A post-mortem examination was carried out on Monday, September 3, where the provisional cause of death was given as hanging, pending the results of a toxicology examination.
Mr Allen heard that there was no further information about Mr Hodson’s death at this stage, and he adjourned the inquest until May 6, 2019.
He requested statements from Mr Hodson’s GP, community mental health team, police, and family members.
