TWO new post office branches are set to open at the end September after extended closures.
Services will return to Kinson and Barton-on-Sea after both were out of action for more than a year.
Post Office Ltd announced a seven day operation will operate at Moorland Express, 1444 Wimborne Road, Kinson and Barton News, 2 Cliff Terrace, Marine Drive from September 28 at 1pm.
The previous branch in Kinson closed in August 2017 due to "operational reasons".
Barton-on-Sea has been without a Post Office since July 2016, when the former site at Westcliffe Buildings, Sea Road, required extensive structural repairs.
A statement from the Post Office Ltd said: "We are now in a position to restore a service to our customers in the local community."
Kinson post office will be open daily from 8am to 6pm and Barton-on-Sea will operate daily from 7am to 6pm.
