AN 81-year-old cyclist has been found with serious head injuries in the New Forest.
Police were called to Mill Lane, close to the junction with Vinneys Close, in Brockenhurst, at around 10.50am on Saturday after the injured man was discovered.
The man, who lives in Fawley, was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
Investigations into how the man came off his bike are ongoing.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time or who saw the cyclist prior to him being found injured.
