POOLE’S free summer fireworks will come to an explosive end on Thursday night (AUGUST 30).
Rockley’s Summer Spectacular has been running every Thursday at Poole Quay since July 26 and this week will see the last event of the season take place.
The party atmosphere begins at 7pm with free entertainment including juggling acts, unicycling, hula hooping and fire performances.
Families will also be able to enjoy children’s rides and bouncy castles.
There will also be live music courtesy of The New Beats who will be playing a classic mix of 60s hits on the Quay.
A dazzling firework display will bring the event to a close at 10pm.
Geoffrey Smith, general manager of Rockley Park which is sponsoring the event, said: “This record breaking summer has been the perfect backdrop to the first season of Rockley’s Summer Spectacular. It has been brilliant to be part of such a superb event which really captures everything that Poole has to offer.”
Poole Quay will be closed to vehicles for the event from 6pm.
